Great location, just across the road from Toyama and Dentetsu-Toyama station. Free breakfast is provided as well for all guests from 6:30am so this is a great help for those wishing to do the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. The breakfast selection, even though not expansive, is nice and tastes great. There is also video-on-demand service that has plenty of movies and TV shows (and also adult content) that you could buy through the front desk, or through your smartphone if you have one of Japan's QR code payment app.

Beds are quite hard and the rooms are small and feels dated. Unfortunately we were not able to book non-smoking rooms on this trip so that we are stuck with rooms that smells like cigarette smoke.

We booked a traditional Japanese room for our family of three. It took our breath away as soon as we walked in. It was spacious, clean with an amazing view of the surrounding area and garden. My daughter and I absolutely loved the outside onsen in the garden. What a treat! The garden was truly magical, especially at night. The hotel was quiet and in a good location with an easy walk to town. All the staff were helpful and courteous and went out of their way to help us with our requests.

All the free stuff - Amazing!! But seriously, the cleanliness here is unmatched compared to other hostels I have stayed at in the past 20 years. Literally they keep the place clean around the clock - and with a smile I might add. THANK YOU! The location is to die for - very accessible to all attractions, near and far. The amenities were superb, security top notch, and having an Onsen (Hot Spring) on property is just the icing on the cake. Superb property.

Extremely comfortable and clean room, small, but equipped with everything needed and as stated in the description. Excellent location - a very short drive/walk to the Sakurajima ferry terminal and in the other direction a short walk in to the main city centre for restaurants etc. Overnight parking is located just across the road from the hotel (¥900). A convenience store is also right next to the hotel.
