The place was not as represented in the booking.com add.
The place was not as represented in the booking.com add. The buliding was a low concrete block structure separate and some distance from the check in location. Looked like a warehouse. The room was bare bones and the ac didnt work. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and was unusable. We had booked for a week but checked out after one night. Would not book there again.

For the Vegetarian in your life try La Belle Verte or Astoria Bistro. There is quiet a bit of road work going on at present

We went to Gatineau for a walking/hiking trip. It is close to the Gatineau National Park which has a lot of walking trails. It also has other walking trails along the Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers.
Great restaurants in the Old Hull area.
Shopping centres every where.
Lots of highways, hardly any road traffic.

I absolutely did not like the place.
I absolutely did not like the place. Not renovated in decades. Old, smelly and dirty. There was rotten, smelly pork in the fridge that felt warm when opened. We left after we've seen the place and booked another hotel this time. Hotels at least have standards that are verified. It was impossible to sleep there even for a night. I have been at other locations in Gatineau before and is usually convenient and close to all tourist attractions. Do not book this place
The hotel is very glamorous with a nice grand hall and large rooms. The view on the lake and the city of Ottawa is magnificent. The swimming pools and sports equipments are really amazing even though we had limited access due to COVID. The room size was above expectations. The bathroom was huge and had the largest shower I ever saw in a hotel room. The beds are great and we slept really well. Location was great with free parking and 8 min drive to downtown Ottawa.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly polite and professional. The parking above ground was convenient and not overly expensive compared to other hotels in downtown Ottawa. Although considering this is in Gatineau, where it's less busy, and the rate of the hotel is expensive for what you get I think that parking should be free to guests.
The location was quiet and it was about a 20 min. walk over the Alexandra bridge to Byward Market - very scenic walk.
It was a cool old building with self-contained apartments. It was clean, quiet, and had lovely hardwood and a hotel style feel, comfortable bed, cute kitchen. There’s even a gym and some vending machines.
The staff were helpful, responsive, and friendly. Bruno at the front desk stuck around for my late check in and showed me to my place. It was only a 15 minute drive into Ottawa, easy access, and there’s a parking lot with free parking.
Prime location and very affordable price. The room itself is good and well-lighted. Sunshine will greet you on any fine day. There are plenty of places nearby where you can go shopping, dine in, or find some summer vibes and simply enjoy yourself. In Gatineau, STO bus passes are cheaper than their Ottawa counterparts, meaning that you can travel around with ease even if you don't own a vehicle.
Nicole was fantastic. Personally texted us to arrange Time of arrival, then guided us in as there was a lot of construction with road closures nearby. She was a wealth of knowledge helping plan of visit of the area, Hull and Ottawa. Her ideas saved us much headache. Free parking. A couple of great restaurants nearby.
The hostess was the tipping point for a positive stay.
The air-conditioner is automatically adjusted, the place is clean, zero-noise and super fresh. I enjoyed my stay there by shopping near groceries where I found everything I wanted. If I had to pass by Gatineau next time - I would definitely stay there.
I found the hotel quite elegant and spacious. the parking is paid but fairly priced and the room was clean and open. the hotel was also perfectly located just across the river in Gatineau and was only a short walk away to byward market!
Your desk staff was very helpful. Lori-Ann made our trip. Travelling with my Dad and Madeline made it a little hard to get around. When your elevator went out. Your staff helped us out a lot. The people at the Hotel the best.
It was a cute little hotel with a beautiful spa (sauna inside and large hotubs outside) with lots of seating. An empty fridge for you to bring your own snacks. Great location and only 20 min drive to the airport
I have been staying at this Hotel since a few years when I visit my daughters in Gatineau/Ottawa. Clean room and very good breakfast choice for the rate charged.
The location was key for our travels. Close to everything we look for when we travel to Gatineau/Ottawa.
The property was well looked after. The room was clean.
Nice large room. The beds were very comfortable. The Koena Spa was a wonderful relaxing experience. Liked the location as it is near Gatineau Park and Ottawa.
